Make your business work for you.
If you build yourself a job, make it the best job possible.
That’s my simple philosophy of business ownership.
Owners take on bigger risks and responsibilities for clear reasons.
We want to:
→ Pursue our passion.
→ Have more control of our time.
→ Increase our earnings and build wealth.
→ Enjoy more freedom and time off with our family.
But then, growing our business becomes harder than we imagined, and we:
- Get stuck doing work we're not passionate about.
- Trade more and more hours to try to stay on top of our work.
- Accept lower pay than we deserve when the business isn’t profitable.
- Sacrifice our free time and days off, hurting our relationships and health.
We get frustrated and if these tradeoffs continue for too long, we resent our business.
Wasn’t it supposed to set us free?
Wasn’t it supposed to change our lives for the better?
Yes, it was!
And it still can.
Remember why you started your business.
Remember the goals and dreams that fueled you.
Take ownership of your time and money to make them work for you.
As your boss, only you have the power to make the changes you need.
You can build the job you wish you had when you were an employee.
What are you waiting for?
